God loves you more than you think He does.
God’s love for you is not just a historical fact; it’s a present reality. We know it, but sadly, many of us don’t actually believe it. We may glory in His sacrificial love displayed at the cross, but we somehow think that His present love for us hinges on our faithfulness, our effectiveness, or our holiness. It doesn’t.
Thinking that it does leaves a vacuum in our soul that we try to fill with greater effort, sinful habits, news feeds, self-satisfying hobbies, or other mind-numbing distractions. We know, in theory, that God loves us, but it just doesn’t seem real. It seems...unbelievable. That’s because it IS unbelievable!

Friend, it’s time to believe the unbelievable. God’s love for you was never conditioned on your performance, and it never will be. He loves you right now with the same intensity of love that compelled Him to willingly hang on the cross of shame and death. Don’t just believe it; embrace it; experience it.
Let His love for you today meet the gnawing hunger of your soul. Let the warmth of His embrace pour over you, drawing your heart nearer to Him, and filling your life with a divine love for others that has no limits and has no end. No matter your past failures or successes, your life won’t be the same as you learn to live in His Extreme Love.
